My name is Rebecca, and I am an artist, web and graphic designer. I am a doctoral student at Purdue University in the area of Media, Technology and Health. I work on research projects, enjoy teaching and working on a variety of different projects. I also teach undergraduate classes at the university and have held various research assistant appointments. When I’m not painting or at Purdue, I like to do freelance projects in web and graphic design. I’vehelped universities and businesses develop web sites as well as consulted. I launched this web site on July 20, 2000 and have had it ever since! That’s me in a nutshell.

I hold an M.A. (2009) in Health Communication from Purdue University, a top-rated program in Communication studies. I am an alumni of Purdue University, where I graduated in 2007 with Full Honors and Distinction (90th percentile) and attended the university on a full scholarship. I am a member of the National Communication Association, International Communication Association, OSCLG, various honor societies including the Golden Key International Honors Society and Phi Beta Kappa.
