I do my best to respond in a timely manner; typically, I try not to leave e-mails unanswered for more than two days, unless I'm away at a conference or wrapped up in a project. At times I do become very busy with my coursework, projects and travel. I'm sometimes attending conferences on a monthly basis and presenting my research, and that becomes hectic very quickly.
